David Lee Roth deserves your respect!
For all you Howard Stern loonies looking to not like David Lee Roth, may I offer these pieces of evidence as to why you should give him a chance:
1) Van Halen's "Drop Dead Legs" could be one of the top 3 songs ever
2) Come on, you know you liked California Girls and the video for Yankee Rose. His first two solo albums were friggen tremendous
3) Arguably one of the top 2 lead singers ever (him and Freddie Mercury)
4) He is not, and has never been, Mel Torme
5) Diver Down, Fair Warning, 1984
The man loves being in the spotlight, and that is one of the top skills needed to do a 4 hour radio show. Now if only he could play nice with Michael and the Halen boys and crank out a few more albums.

(sigh)
Not to defend Howard Stern (please!) but, David Lee Roth only belongs on the radio via Van Halen records.
Taking you down point by point--
1. If you insist, you can have that one-- nothing wrong with it, but top 3 songs ever? Go to your room
2. No I didn't-- I was 14 years old and thought they were stupid. Brian wilson rolled over in his psychiatrist's couch when that burlesque of "California Girls" came out.
3. Come on you better put up Steve Perry in case your wife is reading this
4. Thank God-- and don't be talking smack about the Velvet Fog. Torme had more talent in his short stubby pinky finger than DLR could even wish for
5. Is that a list of albums or are you warning me of imminent apocalypse?
You may be serious, but I'm Sirius
Actually, stay away from the music as well-- it's o-v-e-r
