Most underrated films out there

I would like to submit that 3 O'Clock High is one of the most underrated movies of all time.

For those of you who have not seen it, it is damn funny. All it is is a story about a high school kid who has a bad day and has to fight a big jerk after school. Simple and damn funny.

My second most underrated movie is Book of Love. This movie features the line "Are you tired of bullies sticking candles up your a$$." In the history of filmmaking, that line has never been uttered before and will never be uttered again. There are at least 5 scenes in this movie that will make you laugh so hard you will cry. And again, a simple movie that didn't try to be anything but a comedy.

My next blog will be on why Napolean Dynamtie and the Unforgiven are the two most overrated movies ever.

My underrated movie is called "Funny Bones." Released in 1996, the film is about the son (Oliver Platt) of a famous comic (Jerry Lewis, and hold your fire until you see it) who returns to his childhood home of Blackpool, England, in search of comedy material, and makes a lot of surprising discoveries.

Most enjoyable discovery in the movie is Lee Evans, the most truly gifted physical comedian I have seen in a long time. There is one pantomime act he does on stage in the movie that is jaw-dropping. Some of you know Lee Evans from "Mouse Hunt" or "There's Something About Mary" (the guy with the crutches).

Also, a stellar supporting cast inlcuding Leslie Caron for you old farts, Oliver Reed, and the guy who plays Vernon Dursley in the Harry Potter movies.
