Uncle Jesse, Uncle Jesse

I think ER has Jumped the Shark again and is nearing it's end. They just hired John Stamos, Uncle Jesse on Full House, as their latest cast member. There goes his show Jake in Progress.

Stamos gets full-time "ER" job

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Following a successful guest stint this season, John Stamos is set to join the cast of NBC's "ER" as a regular in the fall.

Stamos will reprise his role as Tony Gates, a flirtatious paramedic who also is a medical student and a Gulf War veteran. He first played the character in two episodes that aired during the November sweep.

The casting is formally in second position to Stamos' ABC comedy "Jake in Progress," which has aired only one episode this season.

Stamos is slated to make his debut as a full-time "ER" resident in the opening episode of the long-running medical drama's upcoming 13th season.

DO not mock John Stamos. First off, Rebecca Romain had his last name for a while and that makes John sort of a folk hero for most men.

And ER has plenty of good actors. Scott Grimes (Mularky from Band of Brothers) is on the show and he is too cool for school.

I'm not mocking John Stamos, I'm in a way mocking ER. It used to be good back in the day. Now I hardly watch it.
